Job Description

The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the development, implementation, and administration of Bloomin’ Brands compensation plans for both employees in the field and in the Restaurant Support Center (RSC).  The incumbent will conduct complex analysis and research, lead various cross-functional projects and initiatives, and play a key role in the company’s

annual compensation planning cycle. This role is a hybrid position working 3 days at the restaurant Support Center and 2 days from home.


  • Provides expert level consultation to HR business partners and business leaders to resolve compensation related issues.
  • Participates in compensation program development, implementation, communication and administration.
  • Conducts various compensation related analysis including job leveling evaluations, market pricing, FLSA determinations and a variety of ad hoc reporting.
  • Provides guidance on drafting, evaluating and managing job descriptions.
  • Participate in equity administration and executive compensation reporting and initiatives.
  • Manages the salary survey submission process and vendor relationships.
  • Works with HRIS to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.
  • Leads the annual compensation planning cycle including system configuration, testing, end user training and communications.
  • May provide training to other members of the team and to the broader organization.
  • Works cross functionally to optimize and document processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field required.  MBA Preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a compensation role required. Experience with a public company and equity administration preferred.
