Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing projects that improve restaurant operations and enhance the guest experience to increase sales across our Off-Premises Dining (OPD) channels.


This position is accountable for promoting a culture of operational excellence by defining standard operating procedures and addressing barriers to flawless execution. Staying closely connected with our restaurant operations teams, this individual will help identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate with the Restaurant Support Center staff to design and implement solutions.


POSITION DETAILS


* Refine standard operating procedures and identify solutions to underperforming attributes

* Identify operational gaps and make recommendations on areas for improvement by acting as Off-Premises operations expert

* Uses a business mindset and leverages the appropriate operational metrics to coordinate and drive the work

* Develops, communicates, and implements plans to accomplish projects aligned with departmental goals

* Maintains a pulse on restaurant environment within our organization and across the industry

* Build relationships with operations leaders to gather feedback on processes and collaborate on action plans

* Drive positive relationships between restaurant operations leadership and Restaurant Support Center team, meeting deadlines and being a role model of our Principles & Beliefs

* Coordinate with cross functional teams to balance operational demands with strategic planning

* Provide status updates to the team, to include assessment of risk and opportunities relative to expectations

* Coordinate suppliers to bring operational plans to life

* Change agent with the demonstrated ability to introduce, promote, and implement new processes

* Effectively plan restaurant visits and schedule travel


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


* Minimum 5 years of restaurant operations experience

* Project Management experience is a plus

* Experience with 3rd Party Vendors is a plus

* Ability to travel 40% including overnight travel

* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences

* Independent, self-motivated and adaptable; deadline oriented with a strong sense of urgency

* Demonstrate discipline of planning, organizing and managing your time to successfully meet goals & objectives

* Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work with and influence teams
