The New Restaurant Openings (NRO) Specialist for Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse is responsible for supporting the coordination of effective training systems for New Restaurant Openings, Remodels and Relocations as well as assigned training initiatives. This individual will report directly to the Manager, Training - New Restaurant Openings and support in the development and continuous improvement of training programs as well as coordinate cross functionally to ensure that all milestones are achieved on time focused on the brand’s growth priorities. They support the NROs as directed by the Manager and facilitate a team of certified NRO coordinators and trainers to ensure proper planning, communication and execution of training programs to ensure successful restaurant openings.

This role is based in the Tampa Restaurant Support Center. Up to 25% travel required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The NRO Training Specialist also maintains a repository of operational execution standards and serves as an information consultant for the brand and contributing departments.

Supports the opening process and timelines and communicates to all stakeholders during weekly check-ins focused on reaching milestones and solving any issues that arise.

Supports project timelines, milestones, and budget for NROs and training initiatives.

Works with Manager, Training - New Restaurant Openings to align appropriate resources to each new location.

Partner cross functionally to ensure opening preparedness, such as liaising with Supply Chain to ensure that products and small wares are adequately provided and working with Finance to develop pre-opening budgets.

Improves operational performance by embodying a growth mindset and constantly looking for ways to improve the opening training process.

Facilitates retrospectives and systematically gathers feedback after each opening or relocation to ensure continual process improvement.

Assists in operations deployment to ensure effective and successful implementation of initiatives.

Uses problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes.

Improves operational performance by integrating initiatives that simplify process and drive out complexity.

Collaborates with team members to create the best solutions and provides check-ins along the way to ensure alignment and buy-in.

Builds and fosters positive relationships both in the field and Restaurant Support Center to build trust and create a collaborative environment.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1 year of new restaurant opening or training experience preferred.

3 years of Restaurant Manager experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred
