Manager, Media Strategy plays a pivotal, key role in developing and executing the strategic path to grow brand awareness, sales, and traffic through best-in class omnichannel media plans.

What You’ll Do
- In partnership with media agencies, media strategy developments across digital and traditional channels, turning brand goals into powerful, measurable campaigns.
- Guide external agencies and internal teams to deliver media plans that inspire and performance time and on budget.
- Collaborate with analytics, insights, and brand leaders to turn data into impactful storytelling and smart decision-making
- Leverage data and insights from Digital Analytics, Marketing Models, Google Analytics, and Consumer Insights to inform targeting, A/B test-and-learn initiatives, channel optimization, and measurement frameworks.
- Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and evaluating emerging platforms, piloting new tech, championing media innovation and finding efficiencies that scale.
- Collaborate across departments (Brand, CRM/Loyalty, Gift Card, Finance) to align media efforts with broader business goals and solve key challenges.
- Develop and foster strong working relationships with all departments, agencies, and media vendors to ensure a positive, collaborative environment
- Design and implement scalable planning processes to establish consistency and efficiency across brands.
- Drive big brand ideation across teams and partner agencies
- Identify opportunities for audience strategy evolution across platforms (1PD, 3PD, Contextual, behavioral)
- Leverage business performance (via MMA, daily internal financial reporting) to identify opportunities to optimize media
- Shape local and national campaigns-including support for new store openings and regional activations
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven expertise in cross-channel media planning and execution, with emphasis on Digital (Programmatic, Paid Social, Paid Search, CTV) and Traditional (Linear TV, OOH).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights and continuously identify opportunities for optimization.
- Effective communicator and influencer, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a track record of building confidence across internal and external teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong financial acumen and the ability to manage media budgets of $7MM+ while prioritizing across multiple campaigns
- Not intimidated by ambiguity or problems without established best practice solution
- Experience leading a full spectrum media solution - partnerships, content, tentpoles, influencer campaigns.
- Experience successfully bringing together people from different disciplines, internal and external to achieve desired outcomes

- You're a dynamic, creative thinker who can flex both the right-and-left hand sides of their brain, depending on the day and how much coffee you've had
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- 5-7 years’ experience in media planning and buying (agency or client side) required
- Experience with restaurant/hospitality or retail verticals preferred
- Demonstrated success managing and optimizing both linear TV and digital media campaign
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience using media planning/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, geo-spatial, and foot traffic attribution tools.
- Hands-on, working experience with key digital platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Google Search; working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4)
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, required
- Master’s degree, preferred
