Licensing Coordinator - Part-Time

The Licensing Coordinator (Part-Time) Role will support other Licensing team members and restaurant field management by completing restaurant license renewals, managing officer changes, and working with the restaurant Partners, multi-unit leaders (JVPs), and second level multi-unit leaders (RVP & MVPs) to obtain necessary information required for active licenses. The Licensing Coordinator Role engages with restaurant field leadership and is highly responsive if violations are discovered. This role tracks and monitors all licenses and maintains information in a specialized Licensing database.

 

This role is an hourly, part-time position based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Completes license renewal applications, both online and in paper form.
  • Works with restaurant operations and other internal departments to obtain information and documentation required for license renewals.
  • Sends outgoing license renewal paperwork to state and local government agencies and restaurant operations in a timely manner.
  • Updates and maintains license database with current license and renewal information.
  • Reconciles company credit card accounts for licensing spending.
  • Works with accounts payable to secure fees for license renewal applications.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail related to licenses.        
  • Maintains the confidential nature of information related to this role and responsibility.
  • Supports team members and staff attorneys with performance of administrative matters, as needed, including scanning/filing, mail, calendaring, and scheduling
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

  

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

·      High School Diploma, required or Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Experience/Skills:

  • 1 to 2 years of licensing experience, preferred
  • Experience working in restaurant operations, a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to gather data from multiple sources and input data with consistency and low error rate
  • Understanding of logistical challenges related to coordinating with cross country, multi-unit business partners
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently and in a team environment with limited instruction
  • Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion
