As a member of the Real Estate Asset Management Team, this individual will be responsible for tasks relative to real estate lease administration, reconciliations, and audit analysis.
This role is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and would work a hybrid (mix of onsite and remote) work schedule. Candidates should be local to the Tampa Bay area.
*Review, research and confirmation of CAM/RET Reconciliations in accordance with the Lease.
*Lease compliance analysis of Landlord billings, real estate taxes and recurring charges.
*Review and interpret lease/property documents.
*Identify and report discrepancies in Lucernex.
*Communicate/correspond with Landlords regarding CAM/RET concerns.
*Establish and maintain strong relationships with Landlords.
*Provide support/service to our partners relating to occupancy cost concerns.
*5+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration and/or related accounting.
*Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
*Possess above-average Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
*Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up.
*Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*Self- starter with ability to adapt and interact professionally with all levels of management.
*Strong customer service and team building skills.
*Must have ability to independently examine/interpret leases or other governing documents, analyze expense categories for reasonableness and accuracy, validate annual escalation statements, prepare variance reports and maintain audit work papers.
*Experience with Lucernex a plus.
*Must be intuitive to appropriately assess and analyze risk, with strong problem solving/research/analytical skills to develop action plans to mitigate adverse impact to BBI.
*Strong ability to self-manage.
