The Graphic Designer is responsible for the development of visual solutions. This includes the design of awe-inspiring marketing collateral, digital assets, etc. while delivering best-in-class, innovative work This position is integral in creating designs that aid the brand storytelling for Carrabba's and Bonefish. Responsibilities include developing graphics for various channels with an emphasis on digital platforms.
*Lead creative concepting, development, and implementation of approved marketing strategies in various channels including but not limited to print, digital, and broadcast media.
*Hands-on designer with initiative and creativity to work with peers and leaders cross-functionally to create collateral that support restaurant and corporate campaigns.
*Organize the layout, format, and design of marketing assets, ensuring typographic, photographic, illustrative, and graphic elements are appropriately integrated into designs.
*Ensure accuracy by understanding and applying the brand guidelines, creative process, and internal proofing.
*Plan and illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
*Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, in the design concept phase through completion of a project.
*Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. to complete projects.
*Work closely with internal clients, project manager, team graphic designers, and external vendors to execute design concepts.
*Balance multiple projects and campaigns while ensuring quality is maintained and deadlines are met.
*Intermediate knowledge of brand communication channels including traditional media and digital innovation.
*Ability to conceptualize, think through solutions, and help execute campaigns.
*Serve as a brand champion by implementing and maintaining a high standard of design.
*Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or related field
*3-5 years of experience in graphic design.
*Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
*Intermediate to expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
*Ability to integrate big ideas through all mediums.
*Detail-oriented and organized with a high-level of productivity.
*Proactive, curious, and creative team player.
*Highly creative thinker, insightful listener, and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
*Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.
*Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
