Job Description

The HR Specialist for Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse is a role based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center (RSC) and this individual is responsible for reporting and analytics, monitoring and

processing background checks, collaborating with numerous HR individuals/departments

on various projects, supporting the execution of operations, and assisting with

recruiting efforts. This position will be involved in several areas of HR and

will provide a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services.



·  Serve as a first point of contact for HR related questions/concerns for domestic field teams and

restaurant support center employees; ensure immediate follow up

· Monitor, process, and adjudicate background checks

·  Plan and communicate effective recruitment strategies which can include but not limited

to creating job postings on job boards, communicating recommendations to field

leaders, owning the referral bonus process, providing effective recruiting

methods to enhance local employee attraction, engagement, and retention

· Coordinate the distribution of materials, timelines, and effective execution of HR


· Develop reporting formats, collect and interpret data, identify and analyze trends, formulate results, troubleshoot data/reports that support business needs in HR; provide recommendations on enhancing organizational effectiveness

·  Participate in the design, planning and implementation of HR programs, technology and


·  Support organizational efforts to ensure HR practices and policies are aligned

·  Involved in project teams to provide creative solutions to HR/operations to maximize

success of the business

·  Provide

general administrative support to the HR Business Partners and Recruiters

·  Other duties as assigned



·  Minimum 2 years of current progressive HR experience

·  Effective interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

·  Must be knowledgeable of federal, state and local employment laws

·  Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

·  Advanced computer proficiency skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and HRIS systems

· Ability to appropriately plan and organize, administer and prioritize, and monitor and evaluate the work

flow of projects and activities
