The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling the Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar experience primarily through inbound phone and web leads. The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service throughout all stages of the sales process. 


The Event Sales Coordinator is also expected to foster new client opportunities via outbound efforts. The candidate must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.


NOTE: This role can be based anywhere in the contiguous US, but you must be able to support West Coast business times (example would be a work shift  for someone in the Eastern time zone would be 1:00pm-9:00pm Eastern). 


This position will also have a work schedule of Monday-Friday


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


  • Responsible for supporting the sales team in a variety of different ways including inbound calls and emails, assigning leads into rotation, and completing administrative duties outlined by the Manager, Sales.
  • Qualify and distribute all leads to the Regional Sales Teams.
  • Manage leads with the utmost sense of urgency and in accordance with the company’s lead response time standards.
  • Create, manage, and confirm event bookings using the sales system including the documentation of all prospect and event client communication.
  • Work in collaboration with the sales team and restaurants.
  • Proactively engage in outbound sales activity by working the convention calendars and soliciting sport business and others as dictated.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Strong interpersonal and people skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously, while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and guest focused.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality, preferred.
  • 2+ years in of current sales experience, preferable in hospitality, restaurant or entertainment venue focused on event sales.
