Director, Finance - Bonefish Grill

Great opportunity at Bloomin Brands as the Finance lead for our Bonefish Grill restaurant brand/concept. Directly supports the President of Bonefish as a key business partner and works directly with Bonefish’s leadership team to optimize and manage financial objectives. Directly manages a team of several finance resources. This role reports directly to the Bloomin Brands CFO and is a member of the Finance Leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

• Manages planning and forecasting team to accurately manage all financial deliverables: Long range plan, annual plan, forecast cycles, and ad hoc analysis
• Ability to provide outstanding business partner support in a complex operating environment
• Manage a team and provide clear direction, feedback, career/mentoring
• Understands critical systems and tools necessary to build financial forecasts
• Analyzes trends to identify risks and opportunities to the forecast
• Communicates clearly and influences across the Bonefish’s leadership team
• Presents financial updates to Bloomin’ Brands executive team

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, required

Experience/Skills:

• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience, required
• Ability to influence across multiple levels and multiple cross-functional teams, required
• Ability to communicate and present at the executive level, required
• Exceptional Excel and presentation skills, required
• Intellectual curiosity and is driven by results, required
• Ability to query and organize from multiple sources and platforms, required
• Ability to teach and develop talent, required
• Prior experience providing finance support to business partner/leader in a business unit / operating unit (brand, region, or channel), required
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or CPG industries, preferred
