Bloomin’ Brands has an immediate opening for Digital Product Specialist. The Digital Product Specialist plays a key role in optimizing the end-to-end guest journey across Bloomin’ Brands web and mobile platforms. This individual will combine data-driven analysis, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to identify friction points, validate insights, and help stakeholders prioritize digital enhancements that drive guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

 

This role is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and will work a hybrid schedule (three days/week onsite)

 

Who will be part of my network?

The Digital Product Specialist position will work closely with internal stakeholders, digital technology vendors, and food delivery partners. This position requires a close relationship with cross functional teams to ensure that business and technical requirements are met, and the product is delivered. Cross functional teams can include, but are not limited to, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Technology. This role can be expanded to accommodate changing business conditions and goals, as well as tap into the skills and talents of the individual, providing opportunity for personal and professional growth.

 

Ok so far so good, but what does BBI expect from me?

  • Appetite to learn, BBI understands the unknown is intimidating, but we will be at your side.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, etc.) to identify "pain points"  and trends in the guest journey.
  • Provide insights and reporting to support internal teams in improving web and mobile experiences.
  • Partner with UX, marketing, and brand teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that improve conversion, engagement and guest satisfaction.
  • Share your customer voice on how to maximize delight moments during those journeys.
  • Nurture relationships within Digital and Technology, as well as all various internal departments who rely on digital properties to advance their business needs and goals.
  • Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with external vendors in support of software and systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to validate tagging, event instrumentation, and journey measurement across all digital properties.
  • Demonstrate team spirit among the whole technology department as one large group.
  • Actively participate during Sprint Planning with a bias to take action to accomplish items from backlog.
  • Work with the Product manager and team to gather the correct requirements and develop user stories for prioritization.
  • Support and facilitate activities related to lab tests of new features, be the link with vendors, demonstrating detailed attention to quality during any test and validation of acceptance criteria.
  • Develop user-procedures, guidelines and documentation on new processes and functionality.
  • General understanding of the team roadmap and help supporting the build out of the plan with individual tactics to back the goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on post-launch metrics for digital features.
  • Provide on-going field/customer support for off premise dining, digital ordering, and customer inquiries. 

 

What is BBI looking for in this professional?

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Digital Analyst, or Technical Analyst is preferred.
  • Exposure to an Agile product development environment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics and tag management; ability to validate and interpret tracking events, funnels, and user flows.
  • Proficiency with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience supporting web-based and app product lifecycle management.
  • Analytical skills to collect, organize and analyze data, offering insights and recommendations for business prioritization.
  • Excellent vendor management and cross-functional communication skills; able to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to creatively manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving initiative, and the will to identify and remove roadblocks.
