Bloomin’ Brands has an immediate opening for Digital Technical Analyst. This is a great opportunity for anyone with the desire to learn the impact of Digital Technology on the Hospitality Industry. This position offers exposure and hands on opportunity via a variety of tasks, projects and innovations in a fast paced, fun and diverse environment.

This role is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and will work a hybrid schedule (three days/week onsite)

Who will be part of my network?

The Digital Technical Analyst position will work closely with internal stakeholders and food delivery partners.  This position requires a close relationship with cross functional teams to ensure that business and technical requirements are met, and the product is delivered. Cross functional teams can include, but are not limited to, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Technology. This role can be expanded to accommodate changing business conditions and goals, as well as tap into the skills and talents of the individual, providing opportunity for personal and professional growth.

  • Observe "pain points" during journeys at our brands with an ownership posture to address it.
  • Share your customer voice on how to maximize delight moments during those journeys.
  • Nurture relationships within Digital and Technology, as well as all various internal departments who rely on digital properties to advance their business needs and goals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors in support of software and systems.
  • Support and facilitate activities related to lab tests of new features, be the link with vendors.
  • Demonstrate team spirit among the whole technology department as one large group.
  • Shadow the Product Owner to gather the correct requirements and develop user stories.
  • Actively participate during Sprint Planning and assist to accomplish items from backlog.
  • Display detailed attention to quality during any test and validation of acceptance criteria.
  • Develop user-procedures, guidelines and documentation on new processes and functionality.
  • General understanding of the team roadmap and help supporting the build out of the plan with individual tactics to back the goals and objectives.
  • Provide on-going field/customer support for off premise dining inquiries.  

What is BBI looking for in this professional?

  • Experience as a Business or Technical Analyst is preferred.
  • Exposure to an Agile environment is a plus.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving initiative, and the will to identify and remove roadblocks.
  • Ability to creatively manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills to collect, organize and analyze data, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) preferred.
  • Experience with web-based and app product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
