Data Steward - Supply Chain
Job Description
I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Steward, Supply Chain is primarily responsible for executing Supply Chain Data Management tasks, while providing administrative support for several Supply Chain data systems. The Data Steward, Supply Chain interacts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data quality, integrity, and governance. The Data Steward, Supply Chain uses strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and manages multiple assignments simultaneously, often within tight timelines.
This role is based in our Tampa, FL Restaurant Support Center (RSC) and may eventually qualify for a local, hybrid (mix of onsite and remote) each week.
II.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Manages end-to-end process for new recipes and master data item setup and inquiries (including but not limited to: Recipe creations, BBI/ Vendor Items, Product Pricing, and Category Hierarchy) within established deadlines and SLAs.
* Maintains master data components and guidelines, ensuring compliance with established business rules and confirming all steps are completed within the designated workflow.
* Performs quality assurance testing to ensure data accuracy and completeness (minimize data errors and exceptions, focusing on first-time quality).
* Adheres to naming conventions and numbering policies determined for master data repositories and enforces data standards.
* Establishes strong relationships with internal and external customers, including but not limited to R&D, Supply Chain, IT, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Operations.
* Develops and executes an audit schedule to ensure data integrity within the different systems managed.
* Provides administrative support for Supply Chain systems (including Pricing, Forecasting, Procurement, and Quality Assurance) by retrieving and entering data, creating reports, and providing files from the respective systems.
* Responds to ad-hoc user inquiries regarding Supply Chain systems.
* Builds trust and confidence in master data and serves as a subject matter expert.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
III. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or technology-related field
Experience/Skills:
* 3-5 years of supply chain, hospitality, or data management experience preferred.
* Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and relational databases.
* Ability to work with large amounts of data and to perform quality assurance to identify exceptions.
* Ability to work in multiple systems and understand the functions of each of those systems.
* Skills to balance Team and Individual responsibilities, as well as work in an environment that is ever changing.
