Job Description

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for leading the effort to drive positive sales growth for Bloomin' Brands Catering channels. The ideal candidate will champion changes needed to build this new line of business for the Casual Dining brands: Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill and Carrabba's Italian Grill. This position will work strategically and use all resources available to pursue the largest catering sales opportunities from B2B clients across multiple BBI brands.


To drive sales, the candidate will independently identify the appropriate efforts needed to increase brand awareness and drive lead conversion. Collaborating with cross functional team, the Catering Sales Manager will provide feedback on the guest experience and help to drive return business. This performance-based role requires a focused individual who can achieve sales targets by actively selling while managing a sales team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


* Builds relationships with our Restaurant Partners to provide the highest level of guest experience along with consistency working together to move the catering business forward and meet the set quarterly and annual catering sales targets

* Daily sales driving activity (prospecting calls, lead generation, cold calls, venue partnerships, trade shows, and networking events)

* Ability to manage a team of sales associates to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals

* Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to drive sales with B2B catering sales

* Drive Catering Sales by prospecting for leads on a Regional and National level

* Develop and grow relationships with potential accounts and past customers

* Collaborating with 3rd party vendors and cross functional team members to optimize sales channels and placement

* Analyze performance opportunities throughout the customer experience and geographically

* Responds to guest inquiries in a professional and efficient manner

* Manage follow up with Guests to ensure satisfaction and increase frequency

* Proactively acts as a Brand Ambassador for Bloomin' Brands


REQUIREMENTS


* Minimum of 5+ years current Catering sales management experience, preferable in restaurants

* Experience to include sales cycle management, lead generation, development of sales strategies and plans, cold calling and B2B sales with a consultative selling approach

* 2+ years' experience directly managing a B2B sales team of 3 or more

* Ability to effectively manage and engage a remote team

* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the B2B environment and their Catering needs

* Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and strategic partnerships

* Proficient with Microsoft Office and adapts to new technology * Passion for growing relationships and public speaking, with strong attention to detail

* Familiar with sales tracking tools

* Ability to work remote and travel as business dictates
