Job Description

The Assistant Brand Marketing Manager for Outback Steakhouse will assist our brand marketing manager with development and implementation of new and existing situational marketing initiatives that support strategic business objectives for Outback Steakhouse restaurants in driving sales and traffic.


We’re looking for a sharp individual who thinks creatively and can help drive unique digital-first tactics that build the Outback brand in markets across the country while partnering with cross-functional teams, agency partners, 3rd party vendors to develop effective hyper-local plans/partnerships.


This role is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and the work schedule will be hybrid (mix of onsite and remote).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


*    Assists in the development of marketing plans with customized strategy that leverages

the national plan through digital-first local opportunities.


*    Works in partnership with internal and agency resources that are responsible for program

development, activations, creative and communication materials to drive traffic

and sales in a designated region.


*    Ensures appropriate marketing information is communicated to the field team for

national, regional, and local marketing activity


*   Business partner for operations team to communicate, influence and plan local marketing

programs.


*   Leverage local media contacts and sponsorship partners to create innovative approaches

in support of digital marketing initiatives.


*    Ability to help the brand manager with budget management of programs, ensuring maximum

cost control and effectiveness of marketing programs.


*    Analyzes and makes recommendations based on market conditions, competitor data and

customer research.


*    Assists in all calendar development across communication pillars at local level.


*    Analyzes and makes recommendations based on market conditions, competitor data and

*   Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on programs, business plans

and management communications.


*   Assists in ad-hoc national programs


REQUIREMENTS


Education:


*         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field,

required.


*         Master’s degree, preferred.


Experience/Skills:


· At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, field marketing, public relations, advertising, media relations or other external communications field.


·  Experience with QSR, casual dining, retail, or hospitality companies with multi-unit preferred.


· Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprout or Sprinklr


· Experience in executing digital marketing

programs


·  Strong data analysis skills


· Strong ability to influence and negotiate with key decision makers.


· Experience with an Agency or in a Matrix organization preferred.


· Excellent Communication and Presentation skills, both verbal and written.


· Project Management through execution with budget

planning/administration.


· Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
